Multiplier Question

Running a P-III 500, what happens if I simply change the multiplier on my mobo from 5 to 5.5 or 6. Mobo is a PXBL REV. D+

Nothing. P3's are multiplier locked.

Like Eriksson said, nothing will happen at all. If you want to overclock it, your only chance is to raise the FSB (Front side bus).
