I've got two sticks of 256Mb ADATA DDR500 (512Mb total) installed on my P4C800 Dlx. and I'll be upgrading my ram this weekend. My question is:

1Gig: 2 x 512Mb
1Gig: 4 x 256Mb

Yep as mrspec3 said its better if you use 2x512mb, youll be able to get a higher FSB ;)

2 x 512, less chance of a dud stick. For example by goign with 4 x 256MB, if one stick doesnt overclock as well as the rest, then that stick will let all of them down. By going with less sticks, you reduce the chances of getting one dud stick which holds back the rest.

I read somewhere before that filling all dimms on the p4c800 dlx with the same ram results in better performance. Anyone else heard this before, or am I on drugs?
