M/B Asus CUSL2
128 Siemens Infenion PC-133 cas 2
Lapped Golden Orb
1.75 core will stabilize at 1008
CL Geforce GTS hacked to Quadro 2 Pro o/c 240/400
SB Live
2 - WD 15 gig ata 66 hdd
I took out a Celeron2 533@800 and put in the PIII. I am surprised that I cannot get to 133 fsb with the setup as it is. Starts to get windows errors above 126 fsb @ any core voltage, tried up to 1.90. Won't even post above 129. I haven't tried upping vio as of yet, would this help? I will let it set and run for the night @ 1000 to see if a little burn-in will help. I don't think it is heat as the bios says cpu temp is only 24c and m/b is 26c. Also heat wouldn't cause a no-post (would it)

I have a 800E cCo running at 967Mhz on an Abit BX133Raid board. I'm using the intel crappy fan and the temps are around 44 degrees on load. My memory is only generic PC100 but I cant get into Windows at 124 FSB. My memory is maxed at 124 for PC100 so I guess this is my problem. Maybe your chip is at its peek. Is it a cCo or cBo stepping model. I have upped my core voltage as u have and that didnt help either. Your temps are low arent they for an Orb? Are they being reported correctly? Maybe you could up your core and i/o voltages a bit. I would doubt your memory is stopping you from hitting your desired Mhz either.

I dont know what stepping the processor is and I cannot remember how to find it either. I probably should be satisfied with it the way it is 'cause coupled with the o/c Geforce this thing really cooks. I need to load up 3D Mark and see what it does

Cooling is usually the answer to the prob, I too am running a P3 800 (E), and can run it up to 1080 @ 1.85v, I run daily at 133fsb, but my temp taken off the onboard probe, which is on the Pcb is never higher than -4c

Heat is definately my problem. Can't run 3D Mark to the end without the Geforce locking up (awsome framerates right to the end though). The 125/41/82 is too much for the standard heatsink and fan on the card. After some heavy use Sun. gotta lockup and couldn't get Win to load past 960 till after a long cooldown. The temp readings of PC Probe cannot be right though. Just checked and cpu is 19c and m/b is 25c. Have a AlphaPEP66 and a cooling kit for the Geforce on their way from 2Cooltek. Wwe'll see hat happens after that

Hey two fan. A tip you might already know.

On 3dmark choose custom test and just do the first 7. It will still give you a score but not take so long and stress everything so bad.

well, we seem to have similar setup cept I have 850E my temps are 22C idle and 35 under 100% load for bout 3 hours. see sig for system stats and go HERE (http://www.geocities.com/jonathanwork/overclockers_central.html) for pics, screenshots of sandra temps and benchmarks. My cpu is cBo and I dont know that the cBo's are doing much more than 1-1.05 ghz in the 800-850 range. if you dont know what stepping your cpu is get sisoft sandra(HERE (http://www.zdnet.com/downloads/stories/info/0,,000EX9,.html) if you dont already have it) and run the cpu/bios info or mainboard info and one of those modules should tell you what the stepping is.

Well, the Alpha and the Geforce cooling kit have arrived. Alpha has Global Win 38cfm fan, should keep cpu cool enough. Thevideo kit has a copper heat sink and bigger fan (setup made to cool a Coppermine it says) plus heatsinks for all the memory chips. Will put it to gether with Artic Silver adhesive and paste when I get home. That should cool down the video card. I know the cpu is a "stepping 3" model but I dont know the letters it is. I will try Sandra after getting it back up. Thanks for the info, guys.

Processor is a cB0 according to Sandra. Tried 133fsb at least got a post, but wouldn't load Win., yet. Could get through 3D Mark with video at defaults. Tried 225/400 o/c of Geforce and locked up in processor speed test of 3D Mark. Geforce just too overclocked at 125fsb. Never tried inbetween there and default. Sandra's burn-in test keep slowing to almost a stop in the disk test. Didn't put in a floppy and that could also be a parallel Zip drive causing that. Just checked all cpu and memory tests and let it run while I am at work. We'll see what happens. Also put in another 128 meg of Infenion ram last nite. Supposed to be same #'s and all but it does look different. Will also try removing 1 stick to see if it helps. Must get to 133fsb to help the video card.
