View Full Version : PIII 750 wont go higher HELP!

i've got a p3 750@1020 (136fsb) .. it wont go higher (won't post at 140fsb), should i:
1. up the voltage (im running at 1.75V)?
2. get a peltier? if so.. wot wattage?
3. do more burn in? (im using a modded pep66 with 2 60mm fans, my idle temp is arnd 38ºC, coz where it's hot where i stay (ambient 31ºC)
4.?
thanks for any help/tips/suggestions!! HELP~!

my config:
asus cusl2-c, 128mb pc133 micron, p3 750 cB0, seagate barracuda 15.0, creative riva tnt2 value 16mb

I think your 750E cB0 has just about reached its limit @ breaking a Gigahertz barrier. Whether it's 700E or 750E, they should have similar OC'ing maxed out at that point.

And yeah, your Vcore voltage is bit too low. And how's your I/O voltage? You might wanna raise the Vcore to at least couple of notches up from where you're and increase the I/O a notch..

Hi dude,

Im using nothing special special brand cooling on my sys.. I just have some modified/cut heatsinks on all mobo chipsets and One skinny aluminum HSF(Not factory HSF) and Two case fans right above my slot1 processor. And at this speed I been getting 28C idle and 38- 40 max load and all games(both D3D & OGL) are playable rock solid. hehe..
