i'm far from an experianced OCer..however sometimes i dabble.

i recently ran into a problem..after ramping up my 2600 to 2255mhz i was a bit unstable so i changed the core to 1.775v and dimm to 2.7v after which my keyboard stopped working...so i rebooted to change back to default setting (deciding to end my OC adventure for that day), but of course i couldn't get into bios because kneyboard wasnt working..i continued to boot..now i had also lost my mouse...so moved the jumper to safe and got back to default settings and everything was then fine and dandy.

I was wondering what might have caused this and is there a work around.. Thank You

I've seen this happen before on many types of boards. Basically, your PS/2 ports died. This may have nothing to do with your o/cing adventure; it sounds coincidental.

2 solutions:

1. Go out and get a USB mouse and Keyboard.
2. Buy a new motherboard

I'd Suggest number 1; far cheaper and easier ;)
