i want to know if it is possible i dont care what crazy stuff you have to do to unlock it i just want to know if it is possible and what materials i will need.
The easiest and cheapest way would probably be to slip some guy at Intel some cash and have him get you an "engineering sample".
I also have a PIII800EB, it is locked on 6x
what a ...! is there nothing to do?
It is possible to raise the FSB until what?

hey, bgner_ovrclker
sorry m8! you're out of luck. it's impossible to unlock the 6x you have in there.. unless, like Tim said, get one of the Intel engineers to unlock it and that's not even a guarantee.. The quickest way to solve your problem is buy another chip, 700E heh.... then u're good to go!! have fun. :P
