HDDs Suck !

My maxtor drive is making me angry again. It works fine untill I install windows on it, then it crashes, and makes corrupt files.
My question is, what is good back-up program, something that will archive selected drives/folders/files, to a separate drive.

I am not sure if this belongs in software section, if it does, please move it.

I currently use Drive Image 7 (http://www.powerquest.com/driveimage/) it works quite well. Also there is Norton Ghost (http://www.symantec.com/sabu/ghost/ghost_personal/). Either one of these programs should do what you want.

The file corruptions are most likely result of the crashes which are most likely result of faulty memory or CPU.
Test your memory (memtest) and your CPU (prime95) to make sure it is not any of them.
