ok restart the computer went strait into cmos the temp was dropping 1*C every 10 secs and i clocked myself going into cmos 20 secs it was at 46*C so i bumped it up a bit its currently at 295fsb 1.65v starting prime for gonna run it for 2 hrs see u then

do abit ic7-gs show temps wrong in bios b/c according to mbm5 my cpu temp is 34*C full load but when i go into cmos it shows 40*C idle...
Try speedfan? http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php
I'm trying to work my way out to get mine stable at 292 fsb :)

Be careful. you're pushing boarderline vcore for any type cooling. I personally wouldn't go above 1.625v max on air. At 1.7 you risk SNDS regardless of your cooling method.

52*C prime 95 for 12 hrs not too hot i was told to keep it under 50*C so im close ima try and drop the voltage down and run some more prime

38*C idle 52*C load full load prime 95 stable for 6hrs at 3.6 what do u think tone it down? or is this ok?speed fan shows my voltage @ 1.65 so a little higher than u suggested u think i should be ok?

If you can lower it(vcore) and stay stable then by all means do. Are you using a divider with the ram? Is it passing memtest86 clean? If you're not passing memtest there is no reason to run prime yet.
Here is a link to aida32, it will tell you everything about your sys. http://www.aida32.hu/aida32.php

290fsb testing 5/4 divider running mem test 232 fsb (ram rated at this) if i pass this then ima run prime v-core @ 1.65

You said you ran prime at that voltage and passed. Try lowering it one setting in your bios. Some will say 1.65v is fine. I say not on air, Why take unnecessary risks?

right now im testing the memory if it passes that and passes prime 95 ima lower it again but speed fan is reading 1.62v so i think im ok

how long should i run memtest? been running it for an hr im at 1k cycles and no errors... keep running or is this good? should i start prime 95 now?
