Realisticly I mean?
I saw on the database some were getting as high as 812mhz(?!?) with liquid nitrogen, now, sorry, I simply don't work at a lab here, so is it just a matter of getting good cooling(with air) or do I have to go to more elaborate methods like water or peilter cooling to achive this?
I've tried to hit 600, but my 'puter will refuse to post,<is this a volatage fix, or L2 cache enable/disable fix?
I have an ASUS P3B-F mobo.
What kind of preformance differance would there be between 500 and 600mhz (possibly with the L2 turned off)?
right now I get around 1324 MIPS and 641 MFLOPS in Sandra 2001 CPU Bench,(is that bad or good?)

600 is about the top of the Celeron core's ability- not all of them will get there, and almost none beyond that. At 600 with the L2 disabled, it would likely be slower than at 500 with it. The L2 is ALL IMPORTANT to performance!

i had my 400@720@2.8v but that was asking alot but 600 it quite possible if you can crank the voltage high enough 2.5v might work

well, mine posts at 600 but i cant boot. it "spins out" loading windows. i've had my celery 400 up to 570 rock bnut my video card screws it up major. when i get my GF2MX i can give you the lowdown on it. i have a GORB, and i never get over 29c under full load, so it isnt cooling. i think voltage might be it, but my mobo doesnt support voltage changing, it does auto-detect (pain in the ASS) the default voltage appears to be 2v. if u know a way for me to toy with the chip to kick it past 2v, lemme know. MORE POWER!

How do get 570mhz? what's your bus speed at? Or are you changing the multiplier? (I thought the celerys had a multiplier lock..)

95x6=570
it seems to mess counterstrike up. =p

My voodoo3 3K AGP runs really hot (apparently thats normal..) do you think that might interfear with my CPU temp readings?< the AGP slot sits perpendicular to the CPU slot, with less than a couple cm between them...my CPU temp averages at 36-40C, but when doing anything with graphics, especialy using winamp with plugins running, my temp jumps to 57C, though neither the h/s nor the CPU feels hot to the touch....
Could MBM just be misreading the temp because of the voodoo radiating so much heat?
