how would you do this

I just bought a egg white glossy case ( i really like it ) but my two cdroms are both off white

what would be the best way to pain them

(i would like to do it with a minimal of disasembly)

suggestions welcome

use alot of masking tape, and i really like to use model car spray paint on plastic
cus it's made for plastic. not to mention the cool colors.

and it would be better to take it apart, but if your good at masking it up you could do that

i got it from newegg 39.99 no power supply ( but thats what i needed)

very nice looking but the front side usb / mic / headphone / firewire thing is a PAIN IN THE !@#$@!# its each wire has to be individual connected

everything else is really nice good pain good front nice buttons easy access to everything

I say don't even bother painting your drives...just stealth them....solves the problem AND looks kickass.

i dont really want to alter the cdrom (aside from color of corse)

however
mabey ill just glue them to gether and make a door that opens or something use one of thouse push lock push again spring open baby lock things.

Stealthing is nice looking, but if you want to keep your drives looking like drives, take a trip to Walmart and get a can of White Fusion plastic paint; it serves the same purpose as vinyl dye, but you can actually FIND it (I looked for months around my town asking for vinyl dye, still haven't found any).

Fusion leaves a nice glossy finish, and they are nice true colors. I painted a 5-port hub black with it, and even though I sprayed WAY too much on (I wanted to be thorough :D), it still looks good, and has a glossy finish.

I stealthed my drives like Macroman did over at bit-tech with the fiber optic for the LED and all. I just swapped my DVD for a DVD-RW and I just pealed the tape off slapped it on the new drive and she was as good as new. Sold the drive to my roommate for 30 bux. So stealthing does tno have to mean destroying the drive for future use.
