I was wondering if the AMD chips are multiplier locked or not?
And can Athlons run at a default speed of 133mhz fsb?

yes amd multiplier is locked but you can easliy unlock them say you have a 1ghz tbird alls you have to do to unlock the multiplier is connect the L1 bridge with a mechanical pencil with .5 lead the L1 bridge looks like this : : : : this is locked but when you connect the bridge with the type of pencil i described it unlocks the multiplier don't connect the bridge left to right connect it from the top to the bottom bridge then move on to the next one http://www.tweak3d.net/articles/tbirdoc/2.shtml here is the web site of what i'm talking about if you have an amd like the slot A then theres an overclocking device that hooks on the top and allows you to unlock the multiplier and overclock it
