I just checked at ATACOM and saw that they are offering PIII866 in CB0 and (cheaper) non-named stepping - inducing the fear that you might get the dreaded CA2 stepping. Checking at the Intel website they seem to only produce a CB0 stepping for this processor.
Question: Has anyone ordered a PIII866 or PIII800 from Atacom, and received a CA2 (old) stepping?
I don't think so, but lets see.
Yo
P.s.:
If it turns out that in fact the Intel spec sheet is correct, then why is Atacom offering CB0 and not CB0. I think, while justified for PIII under 800, this is becoming an unethical business practice.
