If you're starting from the ground up, why go Intel? Asus A7V(A) should have enough empty slots, and with AMD you'll get plenty of performance (at an unbelievable price)and enjoy lots or headroom for upgrading, Intel's in the middle of going to the P4, and Tulatin is still a ways off and haven't heard much but I wouldn't expect yields of P3 cores above 1Ghz to be any good....plus you can unlock an AMD, I'm stuck with my Celeron a little while longer, but I can't wait to jump ship.....Man OVERBOARD!!!!
