Im running a 800mhz fsb P4 and up until this past week I had 256mb Samsung DDR-400 which was running at 400. For christmas I got a stick of 256 DDR 400 not samsung though. I installed it fine but what I only found out now is, both sticks are running at 333mhz. The samsung is rated to run at 2.5 up to 200mhz but the other stick is only rated to 167mhz at 2.5. In the bios its set to 2.5 and my questrion is by setting the bios to 3L to get the 400mhz will I be losing alot of performance because of the 3?
Also my board supports Dual channel so would that help out with performance?
