This is one of the cpu's from PCNut I told everyone about a few days ago. It's stable in Windows ME at 1050, but for gaming 1008 is the limit at 1.87 volts. On my SOYO 6BA+100 it runs 1008 at 1.87 volts with Artic Silver applied and a Vantec P3D-5030 heatsink/dual fans and idles at 65F. Reached 102F after looping Final Reality and then Unreal Tournament for 2 hours. Will run 959 at default voltage! Made in Philippines week 48 of 2000. Better get one while you can.

what kind of video card you got there??
i have an asus p3bf and my p3 700 will run stable and cool at 933 but not for games. they lock up upon execution. changing voltage doesnt help. my agp seems to be too hot maybe. i have plenty of cooling also. i got an asus v6600 pure
sgram(no tv out) any ideas?

I'm running a Creative Labs Annihilator 2 Ultra with the latest Creative 6.34 drivers and 4.27 Blaster Control. Also the video memory is overclocked from 460 to 475. Good luck, Kent :)
Oh, by the way. PCNut might still have some of these cpu's left. Just a thought. :)

In all reality you probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference anyway. Maybe a few more points in a benchmark or a couple more fps. Just was letting you know. Good luck with your system. Kent :)

hehe.. "All" games(D3D& OGL) are rock solid stable@ 1050mhz@RAM timing 3.2.2, hehehe.. I haven't tried higher FSB but the temperture I've been observing and the stability's been looking great that I should go ahead and try 154- 156mhz FSB to see if the games will still be playable, hehe... :P

Got the voltage on 10% (1.87) Been playing around with it for awhile now. I do however; still lose the signal to the monitir on occasions. It's not locking up, just losing the signal. Still trying to figure this one out. Might get an abit be6-II rev2 so i can up the I/O voltage. Maybe that will do it?

Cooling is key,Let me explain
I have a cBO and I couldnt get it past 933 till I made a water cooler then I jumped to 1030,Then Added a 85 Watt Pelitier and Im cruzing at 1083!!!!!!!!WITH A cBO!! ROCK STABLE!!! Games and all, Im using a Voodoo3 PCI,,Still debating on the video card to use,,doing homework on what will handle a Extreamly High AGP clock of my Abit BE6II

Just thought id add that*s*

hey dude, look at the "date(Jan25, 2001)" shown below where I had my machine at 1050 long time ago. That is not present time. If you look at the signature from the lastest posts, you see it's at 1064mhz with all games rock solid playable. By the way,.. I can go 1085mhz(155FSB) right now if I want.. everything is stable except can't play intensive games.

And even at 1064mhz, I didn't even have to have fancy cooling like yours to get it this high, hahahaha... you see the drift here?... hehe... it's darn good job with imperfect cooling.

Hi guys,

I too bought the Slot 1cC0 from PCNUT. Well, here's what I went thru. I upped the FSB to all the way to 163 @1.90V but found that 150 at 1.85v was the sweet spot. Just to be on the safe side, I backed it off to 145 and every game I threw at it ran fine. Managed to loop 3Dmark, UT or Q3A for more than 24 hrs.

Yesterday, I was just curious if it could boot into windows at 166fsb @1.95V. SCSI card did not initialise :( When I reset my system, I couldn't even get into the BIOS to lower the fsb. So I cleared the CMOS using the jumper. Now my system is not stable even at 145! :( The longest time I can loop UT or Q3 is abt 7 hrs. I made sure I have the same BIOS settings as b4. Is it possible that when booting up at 166fsb, something got fried? Or since the CPU `exposed' to high bus speed /voltage, it has somehow `changed'????
