looking for bga ramsinks in bulk

got some from excess solutions (.10 each) and used em up on several rigs/vid cards and gave away the rest to grabby friends. I am done with cutting up heatsinks, it's ugly, dangerous, pricey.

I need them in bulk, like a hundred or more, and don't want to go the ebay route since it is pricey, like $10 per 8 or so.

any help is appreciated

incidently, I got a response from excess solutions, they are trying to get more as well (but likely won't), they sold over 20,000!

I am looking too. I once saw (don't know which forum) a thread about a place that sold them for like $.25 or $.50 apiece with a $25 minimum order!
they had all kinds of stuff- connectors and cables, ect, all well priced!.
My hdd crashed and all my links are gone, but I need to do an order!

It was this forum. It's http://www.excess-solutions.com/, the place __TRONIK__ mentioned. They had like 16,000 units while the thread was around here and all of sudden they were all gone because someone bought them all.:cry:

At one time they had 32,000 of them for .10 cents each (I bought 800 of them and sold them at cost to forum members here) One member at [H] bought a ton of them and sold them for .50 cents each.

Went to www.excess-solutions.com and found these heatsinks........ ES2715.......... granted they are 40 cents each BUT thinking they are only 1.2" square will the fit on an ATI 9800 pro ram chips?

You will be unhappy and out of luck as this heatsink you mentioned is 30mm X 30mm X 10mm

Theres a guy (wluk) selling some nice sinks over at amdmb.com HERE (http://forums.amdmb.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=252537&pagenumber=1) . They cost more than what your willing to spend , but I sent him a PM to look you up and possibly work out a deal between the two of you for a lower (bulk) price . Heres a pic of the sinks hes got :

wluk also has alot of good Heatware references.

I purchased a few from wluk the other day and should see mine in the mail very soon . Looking forward to putting these sinks to good use .

Well the sinks JUST arrived in the mail right now (1/3/04) , and all's I can say is .... VERY VERY nice they are !!!
(quite tall compared to most = about double the norm / that's a good thing) :D
The sinks were nicely packaged and shipping was FAST .

Quite happy with the purchase and service from "wluk" over at amdmb.com . Highly recommend ! ;)

interesting, but still not that great. I hate chopping sinks up, but there are enough dirt cheap sinks on excess that are thin enough to slice easy. Guess that is what ill be doing. Just dont want to have to do it for all my buds :P
