On Criticool's website, it is stated that paypal payments will not be accepted unless the paypal user's mailing adress is paypal verified.

Since Criticool doesn't take credit cards directly, and I don't want to pay via money order, or cash, paypal bank account transfer, or paypal credit card is my only option.

How do I check to see if my paypal mailing adress is verified? My paypal account is verified ( felinusz@mail.com ), but I am unsure as to whether or not my paypal mailing adress is verified. How can I check this, or can someone check for me? I looked around the options while logged into my account, and culdn't find anything.

How can I get my adress verified, if it isn't already?

If anyone else has ordered from Criticool, and has any advice, it would be appreciated as well. I guess I cna always get on the phone with them (although they are closed for the holidays untill the 31st) if worst comes to worst.

Thanks in advance :)

I confirmed my address at Paypal a long time ago. IIRC after you log in click on profile -> street address (under account information) -> then click on confirm. They'll mail you a letter with some code on it. Once you receive the letter, log back in, type in the code and that verifies your address.

According to the Paypal Website, some accounts are eligible for Confirmed Addresses and some are not.

To confirm your address, you will first need to add a credit card to your PayPal account. If your credit card company supports the Address Verification System, PayPal will check that the address you provided for your account matches the billing address that your credit card company has on file for that card. You may be required to complete the Expanded Use Enrollment process, in which your credit card will become activated. Your address will not be Confirmed until the Expanded Use Enrollment process is successfully completed.

However

Initially, some Canadian addresses will remain unconfirmed. That doesn't mean that these addresses are unsafe — just that the confirmation system is not currently supported by all Canadian credit card issuers

If you find that you cannot have a confirmed address, the best solution would be to email Criticool and ask if you can pay with Paypal without a confirmed address, since you are unable to get one.

From my experience, vendors will using forego this and allow you to order with Paypal from their website, as long as you have a Verified Account.

You should be ok, your account is Verified albeit a Non USA account, which may or may not be a problem, You need to ask them if they ship to your neck of the woods.

Thanks a tonne guys - Criticool has processed my order, and they haven't contacted me about it (past order confirmation), which I asked them to do if there were any problems at all - looks like it's all good.

I also recently found that the "verify adress" button is not there in my account, because my adress was verified by the credit card statement codes paypal sends in order to verify an *account*. This being because the credit card I use for paypal uses the same adress as my home adress apparantly.

Wow, I'm a "premier member".
