Celeron II 700 UPDATE

I am now running my Celeron II 700 @ 877 @ 2.2v burning it in and hopefully (for the sake of the chip) it will goto 1 ghz by 1 week. if not i am going to 2.4v and trying that way. WISH THE CHIP LUCK

I bumped up the voltage to 2.3v and installed windows 2000 which im on right now! Does anyone know if i have to buy sisoft samantha or can i just use it for free? Where to download it? THANX

You are just crazy with 2.3V. If you dont lower it you can fry Celery in a one month

SiSoft Samantha isn't out yet. The estimated time is Q3 2001. The newest update for SiSoft Sandra Pro works fine for me in Windows2000.

like i said before this chip is goin to whether it wants to or not, im at 2.4v by the way running windows 2000 and 4 burn in programs. PRAY FOR THIS CHIP

Couple of passing notes.......

2.4 sounds like suicide. I don't know intel's specs for the 700, but I know that sound awfully high. Hope you have temp monitoring capabilities!!!

I have Sandra 2001 Pro. The zip file runs 2.87mb in size. What do you have for an internet connection??
