saw this on techbargains, similar to SSS's thread but this is the keyboard AND the mx700 mouse, with batteries, and NOT refurbed, plus you should be able to goto any staples and pick this up, so no waiting for shipping.
Staples has the Logitech Cordless Elite Duo MX Keyboard and MX700 mouse for $69.94 shipped free. (Select Order by Catalog No and enter 509578-FX as Item Number)
20% Logitech rebate (Original UPC Exp 12/31) and $20 Staples rebate (They usually take copy of UPC) drops it to $35.94!
here's the link for the extra 20% off logitech rebate:

I just check Staples, and it's showing a price of $79.94.

hm.. appears it has bumped up to $79.94 :( however with the $20 MIR, that brings it down to $59.94 - the 20% logitech rebate, still isnt a bad deal if you're in search of the elite mx duo.

Try buy.com deal of the day (today only!) $32.99 after $20 rebate. Though you do have to pay shipping (plus state tax in certain area).
For me it ends up to be roughly the same as amazon ($65.24 with $20 rebate), since they have free shipping and no state tax.

I hate mail in rebates...just take the price off instantly and you'd sell much more...I usually have the money for the product after rebate...but since I have to put the money up front, I can't buy it...

although i always get my rebates cuz i keep track of them like crazy, a popular rule is, if you wouldn't buy an item without the rebate, prolly not worth it

IMHO mail in rebates are a sham....they are used to gain interest on the money you gave them up front.......they mail them the next cycle.....also I dont always get them.....and with Frys I NEVER GET THEM!.....Fry's UHG! DIE!..they are the worst...

Studies have shown that mail-in-rebates are only sent in 50% of the time. Some people buy the product just because of the rebate, but procrastinate to long and miss the deadline.
This is why they have mail-in-rebates. Also, it makes their sales/profit go up in that specific quarter, and just take the hit the next quarter when they pay the rebates.
Anyways, good find. My mx500 has be .......... lately.....VERY annoying

Treepop's right! I'll NEVER buy another thing from Fry's on rebate again. They have a nasty habit of post-dating the rebate slips, so it is invalid by the time you send it in. The ticket "looks" good, but they copy it in the store, and the dates are wrong.
NEVER AGAIN!!

Everyone that games needs to know these do not work well with gaming. Pushing multiple buttons like running and shooting with the mouse, while using the keys causes buttons to be canceled out and/or not work properly. I had to get rid of mine and go for the wired versions which work perfect for this reason. Just a heads up.

Hmm...nice business ethics there! Screw the next quarter just to meet the status quo for the current quarter. Sorry...I really must stop taking all these business ethics classes :)
I have onboard graphics, so my gaming sucks to begin with. But of the games that do work(like Global Operations, Max Payne), the cordless optical mouse of the Microsoft "blue" mouse has worked nice enough.
