this is infineon 256mb stick(s). 7.5 nanosecond sold as pc133. that is really bs. ive seen 7ns. pc100! ive seen 6ns. pc133 generic sticks! this memory is sold as kingston valuram. i guess it sucks, hence the name valuram. if i got the EXPENSIVEram(joke), i bet it would work great!
anyways is there some application or method that would allow me to determine if ive exceeded my rams limits? im at 144 fsb.
i know that just from the looks of it, im maxed out with this 7.5ns. ram. is there any way to technically prove it is maxed out in my specific system, though?

thanks,
sendatooli.

just run some benchmarks. loop quake 3 or run 3dmark 2000. if it does not crash it is ok.

yes, but how do i know if the reason my system wont hit 150 fsb is because of the memory. or something else?

Are you running the ram at cas2 or cas3 ?
Before I upgraded my ram, I had some generic PC133.
It would run at 133fsb with the cas2 setting, but I had to
switch to cas3 to get it to run at 140. Still wouldn't do 150.
Then I tried turning off the system/video BIOS shadowing, and
the video ram caching. Was then stable at 150mhz.

No performance loss detected by disabling the caching/shadowing.
