athlon 850 mobile?! work in...a Desktop motherboard?!

anyone know if an athlon 850 mobile will work on a normal desktop motherboard? because i found one on ebay and i wanna build a sec comp (to use incase my new one breaks! (jus incase)( i also have loadS!!! of spare parts I need a mobo! a cpu ram ... and thats it...i gotz the rest...)

It should work without a problem, except the motherboard *might* not recognize the chip and show it as "Unknown" or something, but except that nothing to worry about.

do you think i can put a p4 mobile 1.6ghz 400fsb in a p4 mobo?

I'm not sure, but I think that the mobile P4s have one more pin and this makes them incompatible with the desktop socket chips. I'm not too sure on the P4 thing tho.
