Temp's on a P2 300MHz?

Is there a way I can see the temps on my dad's old P2 300@333MHz?
It's on a MS 6117 LX board.
Please help, I need to know so I don't fry it!

I dont think thermal sensors were introduces until the 350mhz PII so even if the board had the ability to show the temp the chip doesn't.
