View Full Version : How to overclock a C 366/66 Abit bh6 motherboard

I have tried changing external clock and multiplier factor no luck it wont boot comes back with a cpu bios problem please confirm you cpu type which i have to go back in and change everything back, or the screen simply goes blank which i have to restart several times till it comes back. SCARY i read beg guide with no luck. Any help is appreciated.

you have to disable the speed error hold in the bios, then everything should work.

I have a machine with the same setup, running 458Mhz @ 83Mhz FSB
My settings look like this

CPU Operating speed : User Define

- Ext. Clock (PCI) : 83Mhz(1/2)
- Multiplier Factor : x3.5
- SEL100/66# Signal : low
- AGPCLK/CPUCLK : 2/3
- L2 Cache Latency : 1
- Speed Error Hold : Disabled

CPU Power Supply : User Define
- Core Voltage : 2.05v

Hope that helps
PS. Leave the Multiplier alone, if I mess with that mine will not boot either.
