Celeron 300A Slot1 :)

Anybody got suggestions on what it will go upto and still be Stable ?
Haven't got any special cooling ... ?
Bit of a beginner at OClocking so plain explanations would be helpful ;)

check out the cpu database on the front page. You would be lucky to hit 450.

Ozzy, you have the perfect beginner CPU for overclocking. At least a 95% chance to hit 450 MHz (using 100 MHz bus speed). Lots of good articles at this site and also check out Tom's Hardware for great, classic overclocking info. You might have to slightly increase the voltage and add better than average cooling. with good sooling as accessible as it is nowadays - 504Mhz might not be all too inaccessible

i couldn't believe my luck when it turned out to be a 300A .... The bloke said it was a p2 300 :)
