I am running 2.4 @ 3.0 on IC7 in well ventilated case, cpu temp runs 102F at idle, 138F running prime95.
are these temps normal?

Those are pretty high load temps (38.8C, 58.8C), and a weirt Delta T for idle to load...
But pretty neato lookin case I think.

Yes, that is a high load temp. Are you using the stock thermal interface material too? That could be a part of it.

I am using AS5 and I lapped both the hsf and cpu,
btw I have gone up to 260 FSB with the tips I found here
@ 3124 1.55v cpu 2.7ddr
5560 sandra mem scores @ 2.5,3,3,7 5/4
LOL @ case comment, looks pretty brutish these days...120 sunon in side plus a blowhole for a top with 80 sucking out the rear also all sunon hi perf fans...... old style fan controller with high, low and off......

A lil paint job and re-wireing could fix that case up right! As would a new HS:p

WOW my stock HS was runnning at idel 33c and hitting it hard LOL was at 50c.
Now with the mods to my case and new HS I am at Idle 27c 39 c full on.
