I'm looking into purchasing a dual mobo and put 2 celerons onto it. I am really new to this "overclocking" business and I need am trying to find out what should be my "limit" If anyone could give ANY advice, it would be appreciated
Don't waste the money- all fc-pga celerons have been neutered by Intel. The signals required for SMP operation have been terminated within the chip- they no longer come to the pins, so therefore SMP operation is not possible. Intel didn't want their low end chip eating into their server market.
For SMP it's PIIIs or older PII/Pentium Pro/ppga Celerons only. Also beware certain steppings of the PIII 600e don't support SMP either. Intel has a page on their web site that tells which chips are capable of SMP.
