whenever i overclock and it boots into windows after startup i get a windows registry checker error. i am running my p2 350@441. is there any way i can get around this? also, how do i disable my windows startup animation. thanks

This is because your memory cannot handle it.

Either up the I/O voltage to enable your memory to run a little faster, or purchase some memory that will be suited to the higher FSB that you are trying at the memory timings that you are using.

how high can i go on my I/O voltage? i have set it a little higher than 3.50 default but what can happen if i up it to much? thanks for the help and if anyone knows how to disable startup animation please reply

just a friendly note. RAM will burn out easy... dont go to far from 3.5v i would only go 10% max.. that is 3.85v... even still, i think that is way to much.

Oh what is your RAM speed set to? CAS 2 or CAS 3? if it is at CAS 2 try it at CAS 3... ye this will slow your RAM speed down but it may work at the higher speeds... Is it worth it? only benchmarks will tell. it is the CPU speed vs RAM speed, what is faster ? ? ?
