I have an HP Pavilion XE793 and was wanting to know if anyone has overclocked the prosesser,the mother board has no jumpers to overclock and the pheinox bios doesnt help me that much and i cant get softfsbv to work it just frezzes my comp.I have the celeron 700 with the 810e chipset and my motherboard is made by Cognac i cant find info on it so if some one can help me it will be appricated, and hp dont have a maunal for it,at least thats what they told me. I tried the hardware but didnt get no answer.

i don't think you will be able to overclock your computer since the motherboard is probably modified by hp so u can't do anything much to it
i have the same experience with my old compaq
if u want to overclock, u probably have to get a new mother board and probably some good ram too

Are you any good with an soldering iron? jumper are thier just cut off......
well that is with any HP board i have seen
