i got my celeron slot 1 333a to a 416 but when i try to clock bus speed with 100 or 100+ it stop working.
i get only 30'c with 333@416

also what do multiplier and voltage do?
i clocked higher multiplier and voltage but the speed remain same

I have abit bx6
slot 1 celeron 333a
128 ram pc 133
heatsink with really strong athlon fan
+ 2 case fans

Celerons have a locked multiplier, so it can't be changed. The C-333 has a multiplier of 5, this is the number you "times" the bus speed (fsb) to get your CPU clock speed (5X66=333).

That only leaves increasing the bus speed as a means to overclock. The more you increase the bus speed, the more CPU core voltage above default it'll probably need to be stable. If I remember back to when I had my C-300 O/Ced to 450, I believe I had to bump the voltage up to 2.2v to stay stable on mine.

The higher the voltage and the higher the clock speed, the more heat the CPU will generate. The higher the heat, the less stable it becames, which increases the need for better cooling. Hope this helps a little.
