Running ASUS CUSL2-C mobo FSB 92, Celeron 700 @ 966 stable, Core CPU Voltage 1.7, will raising or lowering or changing the voltage in any way shape or form help me with a higher speed or more stable system?

It's entirely possible that an increase in Vcore will increase the speed that the cpu will run. The temps will become more of a factor as Vcore increases. This means that your heatsink efficiency may prove inadequate for the increased dissipation and it may seem instable in spite of the increased Vcore. If you have good cpu and case cooling I would certainly give it a try. 966 at 1.7v certainly looks promising.

I am soo pissed that i got a new revision P3V4X and it can only do 66, 75, 83, 100, 105, 110 etc fsb's and not anything in the middle so now i can only get my Celeron II 700 to 877 (83fsb) and not something like yours. I can hit 877 (83fsb) @ 1.65v (1.7v default) i have a cC0 chip. I can't even post at 1.05ghz (100fsb) but i kno it can hit probably like 980. Does anyone want to send me a mobo that can do something like 90fsb or 95??? LoL Thanx guyz

My best reccomendation for overclocking the Celeron 700 would be getting the same board I have, the Asus CUSL2-C lets you bring the FSB speed up 1 click at a time, My old Tyan board was like your board it would only allow 66, 75, 83, 95, 100 at which anything over 83 would not post. The new board was worth the money it has proven to be very successful in overclocking my C 700, The voltage is set at 1.7 it dont seem to change if I raise the voltage and I cant get it to run stable at 976 or higher, But I'm very happy with 966 it performs well and my games are so much better then they were before.
