Well I finally got off my lazy ass and decided to find the max FSB limit of my rig. Found out my 0330 2500+ can do 230mhz FSB on only 1.7V (w00t w00t) with 10x multi. Mobo actually overvolts .2-.4 so actual voltage is like 1.72V-1.74V. No volt-mods. Was too lazy to increase the multi further and test for stability so im using 230x10 right now. Stupid Geil ram refuses to run CL2 so I'm using 2.5-4-4-8.

Having you tried running RAM timings of: 2.5-2-2-11. Many websites say that is the best timing. You might actually get a few extra Mhz outta this.

I tried 2.5-4-4-11 but apparently my Geil ram doesn't like this because it made my system unstable. I doubt 2.5-2-2-11 would work either...

Well of course...
But my crappy Geil ram could never be able to run that at 230mhz...

Very nice. Have you done any mods to your board like the vdd mod? Mine can't get over about 210. I tried running at 215 with mem at 83% (like 180 mhz) and prime still errors. My southbridge gets kinda hot, thinking about adding a little memory heatsink. I'm also running the 1004 uber, but I've got the non-deluxe.

230MHz at cas 2 is a lot to expect from any ram. The Geil PC3500 in my NF7-S will do 220 cas2, which is still more than it is rated for. Not sure about my other machine since it's no good above 211 FSB. 230 FSB is amazing IMO. Wish I could get that out of my A7N8X Deluve Rev 2.

No voltmods. Thinking about doing some when I finally get around to getting watercooling.
