hello, i want to know what is the best cooler for overclockig my PIII 800 EB, and the site of the cooler, and what you think about the dual orb of the titan?

The best bang for buck is probably a GlobalWin FOP-38. GlobalWin just released an updated HSF. It's even better than the GW FOP-38. I hesitate to suggest a GW FOP-32. While it has the virtue of being a LOT quieter than the FOP-38, it doesn't cool as well. If you have superior throughput in your case, say 100 cfm per minute or more, the FOP-32 should be OK.

All is not well with the GW FOP's. They are natural-born S370 lug snappers, as well as glass CPU crushers. The replacement for the FOP's has the same murderous SK7 steel clip. As you don't have one, I'll spare myself the lengthy explanation of how to install them right.

If your 800EB will hang on a Slocket, an Alpha PEP-66 is the clear winner. Get a model that comes with a Delta 38 cfm CPU fan. If your case ventilation is superior, a YSTech 27 cfm, or better a Sunon ~27 cfm fan will work well. The PEP-66, or PEP-66T may fit an S370 mobo just fine. You can mod the PEP-66 to fit vertically on S370 mobo's with space constraints. If you'd rather not, an Alpha PAL-6035, again with a monstro Delta 38, or 27 cfm fan is recommended.

If you're using an S370 mobo, the ultimate in cooling power is a Kanie Hedgehog. There is more than one model of these! Newer is better. You can have the baddest CPU cooler on your block--the catch is: they are costly!

According to http://www.overclockers.com.au , the Titan Majesty is a pos. The new cooler(s) from Thermaltake that DON'T look like Orbs are said to be very good. The only Orb worth wasting time on is the BLORB--and that's for Vidcards only.

You might want to try a Kaine Hedgehod w/ the delta fan. This things cools very nice and you can get one at http:/www.plycon.com for $40.00, they're having a sale.
