View Full Version : 2 gig's PC3200
I am building a box for a web designer and he wants two gig's of PC3200...This box will not be overclocked...I saw in "Cyber Deals" that PC3200 Kingston Value Ram for 59.99 with free 2nd day shipping...That would be 240.00 for 2 gig's...Anything else out there that I should consider...Sounds like a great deal to me for 2 gig's...Advice, better deal, would be greatly appreciated...:)

um.....just make sure the motherboard can support that much at the 3200 speeds and make sure it also has the 4 ram slots or you are only going to get 1.5 gigs...

Dang that is some cheap ram, but yes if he wants 2 gigs and not OC'ing shouldn't be a problem then.
I got 2 gigs (Check sig for info) its pretty nice not to run with a 2gig swap file anymore :)

very cool ill have to pick some of that ram up
Yeah I gotta give props to AK50 for posting the link in "Cyber Deals"...At that price I think I am going to buy 4 sticks of the PC3200 for customer box's...I paid 184.00 not to long ago for the "matched pair" of PC3200 Value Ram for another guy to match a pair I bought from mrgreenjeans...Guess I will jump on it while the getting is good...:p
let me get this straight, it is far more important to have alot of ram than good ram??
I would steer the person towards good ram as I am sure it would prevail in the long run
