I am running a PII 333Mhz (66Mhz x 5) on an Asus P3V4X with 64mb PC-100 memory.
What is the best way to overclock it? Should I just change the FSB to 100, leaving it at 500Mhz, or should I tone down the multiplier a bit too? What's a good speed AND WHAT VOLTAGE SHOULD I SET IT TOO?
PS: Remember, I am only using the standard HSF!!

C'mon guys, I need help here - is this because my name has "t-bird" in it?
If you are really luck you may get it running at 500mhz with either 2.1 or 2.2v or so, one thing you should try before you do it is to see if your multiplyer is only limited as some p2's can't use a higher multiplyer but can use lower ones, for example I had a p2 233 which I could run a either 3x112 or 2.5x133 but wouldn't run at higher multiplyers at least not at 66mhz (I have heard that running 66mhz p2's at 100mhz disables the multiplyer lock but my p2 wouldn't even post at 350mhz so I couldn't try 4x when I was running on a 100mhz fsb

I am now running it at a (what seems to be....) stable 450Mhz (100 x 4.5) @ 2.05v core. Won't post at 500Mhz though.
have you tryed higher vcores at 500?
