I know that Z-560 have 400W RMS power

how much PMPO power do they have??? :rolleyes:

It's not a standard, so there's no easy conversion ... it would be like 1,000,000 pmpo watts I think :p

I think the conversion is roughly 2.5 pmpo units to 1 rms unit. I've seen conversions as high as 10 to 1 as well. Don't quote me on this though.

BTW PMPO or Peak Maximum Power Output is the worst way to measure performance. It isn't an accepted standard, it isn't measured fairly and just doesn't tell you very much about the power handling capabilities of the speakers/amp. :mad:

you CANT compare them. thats the point. PMPO is BS designed to improve the appearance of speakers or amps, and everybody uses their own way to evaluate it. Stick to RMS - that the only one that you can even begin to compare.
