View Full Version : Celeron and ASUS CUSL2 owners...
I've got a Celeron 400 which I've run @606 - 2.3volts for a year on a Abit BF6. I've now got an ASUS CUSL2 but for some reason I can't get the board past 2.05v.
I've tried 2 boards and 2 Celery's but exactly the same result - freezes at first screen (Press 'Del' to enter bios screen) I've got the latest bios 1003.
Any experiences?
I just built a new system with a celeron 733 and a CUSL2-C. I'm having huge problems all of the suden the case a cpu fan hi their threshold and then my processors teperature sky-rockets. I do not know why but I'm starting to not like my new Motherboard.

Hi , I have the same board as many others have and most of them are happy with it . I thin for the first question that maybe you have to clear the cmos and load setup default in the bios , it will then see the right cpu and give the right voltage settings .
For the second question , is your heatsink installed properly ? The temp reading you have is extreem and can't be right because the cpu would burn out , don't use the Asus probe because it doesn't work correct.
Get yourself a copy of MotherBoard Monitor 5.04.
A good place to get specific answers on the CUSL2-C is at "www.cusl2.com"there is a great forum for the Motherboard you have . I think it's one of the best out there at the moment !! Good luck
Thanks for the suggestion.
I've tried both Celeron's from a fresh install & from a CMOS reset. The correct voltage parameters alway show up - as a matter a fact I get from 2.0v-2.4v whereas the Abit BF6 gave me 2.0v-2.3v. It's just that I can't select anything other than the default 2.0v or 2.05, which isn't really much of an increase anyway!
