I am currently using CUSL2 Board. I have a retail Intel PIII 733 MHZ CPU with 512 MB PC133 SDRAM (MICRON) , Diamond Viper II 32 MB AGP Video card and a IBM DESKSTAR 75GXP 30GB Hard drive.

May I know what kind of settings I need to set in the BIOS / CMOS, in order to push the performance of my computer to the limit.

Please advise.

FYI,

I have currently increase the CPU to 786 MHz, CPU Vcore has been pushed from 1.65V to 1.76V, only at this setting, I can get SDRAM Capability SDRAM Operating mode reprt both at PC133 if I increase to 800 MHZ, the Operating mode will be PC100 only.

So May I know what should I adjust, in order to get a better/ higher overclock CPU ?

Please advise.

The problem is that your system started at 133MHz FSB. You are now at 142. At that speed, it could be anything in your system that is keeping you back, not just the processor. Your RAM, for instance, is rated at 133 and could be the bottleneck.

This is why we overclockers stay away from the EB chips.

Have you tried going to the next step/fsb yet? Try that and see if you get a better report. Use sisoft sandra/wcpuid or any other program to see what your ram is running at. I am sure you can take that chip to 850+. And for that other guy who replied, what are you talking about, overclockers usually don't use 133fsb chips because it limits how far you can o/c it. 133 fsb chips are great because of the bandwidth your talking about. Sometimes 11mhz of fsb can make the difference of 900mhz to 980mhz. 900mhz will be faster if it has a higher fsb. This chip should o/c great with a good heatsink and fan. You can get these from pcnut.com or anywhere. I recommend a ALPHA. Just change the fan if it gets too annoying.I think your setup is great and could be even better with some tweaking and burn in. HOPE I HELPED!!!

PUSH the fsb up and see what works!!!
