That is the 'water spreader' in the lid to try to shoot water at some of the other channels

Any comments?

Looks much better. How thick is the base? The thinner the better. I say go for the record and make it .5 mm! :D

See if you can reduce the width of the channel walls and get another channel in there. There's some company out there that did that with their "rev 2" version of a block and it performed better.

See if you can add a couple of shortened (not as long) channel walls at each end so you can get a better paw outline.

How are you cutting that block?

Would it possibly be benificial for you to make the inside less circular and more of an elipse?

The base is 2mm thick... I will consider 1mm :)

I might reduce the width to 1.5mm and put another channel in.... I was also considering removing the paw and just having the one on the lid... because it is going to increase milling time by a fair amount... I will have to think about that one :)

Keep the paw inprint - it's the coolest part of the block, and would look very professional when installed (if you could see it...) ! :)

Also - maybe it is just me but the channels look kinda thick. Is it feasable for you to make them thinner?

the thinnner the better BUT as you make the base thinner, (too) you loose strength in it and must depend more on the force being transfered up the ribs to the top. so you dont want to make them too thin, as you will loose their support.

all that is IMHO since ive never built a WB b4 :D

PS. KEEP the paw print!

Ok, channels will be increased + made thinner....

and the paw stays :) might even make it a little deeper

I would stick with 2mm for that block, maybe even go as thick as 4mm.
That nozzle looks more restrictive than it shoudl be, there shoudl almost be an expansion chamber then the nozzle, mainly because you loose tons of flow. If you made it 3 peice, and milled out a little expansion chamber above the nozzle.

I willl also make the nozzle wider to restrict less flow
