SOO guys...im a complete nub to this hard drive stuff so can yall educate me on the subject? id like to know mroe about partitioning, like the methods, advantages, so on...also about formatting and stuff..(i know the basics, im not a COMPLETE idiot)

...hhhhhh, haha. David theres not much to it. There are different ways to format and partion depending on your HDD. For 98 and ME (as you already know) you always select FAT32. When formatting to FAT32 you may want to use the ME boot disk because the 98 disk may not support formatting large volumes. For 2000 and XP you would use NTFS. To format and partion that all the tools already come on the CD, but in some some cases like your XP Pro you're gonna need 6 floppies.

Thats just pretty much all there is about it. And dude you know so much about this stuff. Theres not much more to it.
