i want one of those light strips that you type somehting into and it scrolls across the screen and has like rainbow colors. It'd be great to program so i could take it to LAN parties and hang it up displaying my score, and various good-natured taunting to throw them off their concentration.

Be even better if you could do a quick alt-tab and change it with a windows utility.... or a mod for the game to automatically update it.

Seeing as how that is a rather big neon sign, I think it would unnecessarily draw from your power supply. Just leave it plugged into the wall. Why would USB make it that much cooler?
