What cooling set up do you have on the processor, standard intel one's aren't always enough and make sure you have smoe thermal compound of some kind between the chip and the heatsink. I have a cC0 600 that would do 900 at 1.75v with an FOP32-1 with no compound and will do 1008 at 1.9v using some Artic Silver and an 80mm fan on the heatsink plus some decent case fans

im using a fop 38 with the normal pink pad on the bottom. I dont think the temperature is a problem cause it dont get hot

Do you mean the heatsink doesn't get warmor the chip? And what chip temp do you get? Those pink pads are terrable, your better off with out one at all, use nail polish remover and a scowerer to get it off the heat sink and a soft cloth and the nail polish remover to get it off the chip, trust me some kind of thermal compund is essential at those sorts of speed even

I agree. Get that off of there, and at MINIMUM, go to Radio Hack, and get some of their thermal compound.

Better, get a tube of small contact area Arctic Silver. You should be able to find a link to someone selling this online in the "Cooling" catagory.

Right idea Friday, wrong store.. Try here: http://www.warpfactor-e.com and go to "cooling". Price is $10.00 (US) and shipping to me in VA was $3.90. $14.00 shipped beats $14.00 + shipping any day.
