I have a p3v4x, 700e cbo. im waiting for a MC2001(dual pelt cooler) my 600e would run stable at 150 fsb w/alpha. The 700e will do 133 but no higher w/the alpha. Im confident the 700 will do 150w/ the MC2001 but my Question isnt about my situation im wondering if anyone knows what the actual real limit is to a p3 coppermine. H oda shows p3s w/ 200+fsb. me wants do dis! But do these machines play games?! or just stay on long enough to run cpuid and explode? I think this is a very important topic as it has graet bearing on future upgrade plans for all intel slubs like myself. what do you think?
You may note that H Oda's son has a web site that shows a lot of high numbers. For the PIII 700 Coppermine, I emailed about 5 of the high score owners. Two replied.
My question was voltage. The answers were 2 volts and 2.05 volts. So that is part of the answer.
