i dont know which one to buy, its only a 10 bux difference in price, but i dont know if the 2600+ is better

i hear the 2500+ is better for overclocking??

and i see way more people have the 2500+ then the 2600+, why is that???

please help me what to pick, the 2600+ or the 2500+

its for gaming and i wanna overclock it, the motherbaord i get is the Abit NF7-S Nforce 2

If you have pc3200 memory get the 2500+ because you will get more FSB out of it since it uses 11x as the multiplier. If you do not have pc3200 ram then get the 2600+ that way u have .5 more multiplier to make up for slower memory.

if they are both locked, i'd go w/ the 2600+ because the multi is higher. If they are before week 40, you should be fine and i'd go w/ the 2500+

both with pc3200 memmory

I think most people, including myself, would recommend the 2500+ if you have the memory and the motherboard to get 200+ FSB. 2600+ I would recommend for those who have pc2700 ram.

ok thx im getting pc 3200 memmory with it so i go for the amd 2500+
