I am building a waterchiller system however I have a question. I was planning on drilling two holes into the top for tubing. However, I was warned that there might be cooling tubes surrounding the whole inside. Im not sure this is accurate, but Im not sure its completely inaccurate. Does anyone know where, if any, are the cooling tubes so I dont accidently cut through one.
Also, I planned on putting the freezing element into the water, however Im not sure if it will reach. Is there any way I can extend the tubes from the compresser to the elemnt?

I think the best place for the holes would be the door because its true that there might be cooling tubes in the top. But I doubt there are some in the door.

The 1 mini that I tore apart (took the tubes out) had tubes on the top, both sides and maybe the bottom I can not remember. But, YES there are tubes "in between" the outside wall and inside wall. Unless of course somehow you got lucky and they are hanging off the back like a full size.

well i took a chance and drilled through the top. all that was there was insulation. now its sitting in my basement running to test condensation. i have a ww that im using with the fridge and i can only insulate the line to the cpu and not the ones out until after the y. i guess i should just look for smaller tubing insulation but if i get no condensation im fine. also, i kind of need a graphics card, some neoprene, silicon sealent, and dielectric grease.
anyway, the temp rocks. it feels about 10c when touching it. i wish there was some way i could dip the freezing element into the basin of water.
