I'm not sure about that one but I think I heard that even with a locked 2500 + , you have access to the 10 x multiplier ...

Is that true ?

You do have access to it, but when u change it and reboot, it just goes back to the stock mult of 11.

its going to say at 11x. Theres nothing wrong with that either. For the 2500+ thats the best multi to get a high fsb and high clock speed.

hi all, i have a 2500 barton question too ... i currently have a 1700+ that does 2.1 ghz maxxed out. i'm thinking of getting a barton 2500. do you guys think it will be worth it ? i have no control over the stepping i'll be getting ! whats the avarge o/c for these puppies ? i'm hoping for 2.5. as that would be a decent upgrade for the money i'll be paying for the barton. oh and i havent been keeping up with the steppings since i got my 1700+ a year ago. what are some good one's for the 2500 barton's ? thx in advance :)
