I am building a dual p3 850 on an Abit Vp6 and I have been searching for the best cooling system for the money. I'm actually leaning towards the "best" side a little more than the money side because I've been saving up. But cost differences are a factor. I'm also very busy doing architecture so water cooling kits/ Heatsink fan combos are a must.

I have been reading about cooling for the last few weeks and I've pretty much fried my brain trying to keep up with all the different specs. My problem is that the results are given in temperature reductions on a certain system in a certain ambient temp. I now get those spiral googlie eyes when I see lists of Temps in C.

I'm not scared of having a water cooled system, in fact I think it would be great. I'm just curious as to how much it cools in comparison to other methods. In fact, if anyone knows of a test that compares Water cooling, (with and without a peltier), to Air cooled Heatsinks(with and without fans) that might answer my questions.

The only thing I'm conserned about is condensation with a peltier. If it's really no big deal let me know.

Also, "The Core" looks awesome. How does it stack up against a water only system?

Finally, Should I get a watercooled system? With or without a peltier?
Should I go with Heatsinks and Fans? What about the "Core"?

I'm using PEP66s on both my VP6s and I can run the cpus as far as air cooling will take them. I travel too much for pelts or water cooling, since my system stays up 24/7 as a VPN for access from the road, and as servers. I can leave a fan running and not worry too much, but a failed pelt or pump would give me a "China Syndrome".

I have a Leufkens kit I bought and decided not to use if you're interested in it. It only has one water block, but has everything else.
