Hi all.

I'm completely new to the overclocking game, so take it easy on me.
I'm into digital audio, and have been running my DAW with a P3 450 for a couple years now. I just ordered a P3 850 as an upgrade to my system. I'm thinking that it may give me the performance boost I need without o-clocking. But if I ever do decide to overclock, can I do it with this combination. The mobo is an iWill BD100 Plus. I've got 384MB RAM. Honest answers would be appreciated, as I don't wanna fart around with trying to overclock if it just isn't practical with this CPU/mobo combination. Thanks.

I'm not familiar with that motherboard. But, if you are able to change bus speed (fsb) and CPU voltage, then sure, it can be overclocked... provided you have better than average cooling. Not all CPU chips are good overclockers, but I'd be surprised if you couldn't at least go from 100 MHz fsb to 112 MHz fsb for a total of 952 MHz clock speed.
