Hv u guyz experienced this temp difference before?
I was using the MSI KT6 Delta mobo, Athlon XP 2500+ (2200 MHz, fsb 200) and Cooler Master's Thermaltake (i guess) with a complete copper block heatsink. With this mobo, I was getting around 50-51C idle and 53-54 loaded.
When I changed the mobo to the Asus, it was only 43C idle and this is with the Q-Fan in action to 4440 rpm (max 7000 on the MSI). If I upped the fan to max, I'll be getting 39-40C - a good 10C compared to the MSI.
Tell me, which is more accurate?
