can get my chip to 10.5 x 200 at stock vcore, stock ram voltge, and 2T-2-2-11 timings. When I try to use 11 x 200 it will run prime for about 30 minutes then hard freeze. I upped my vcore from the stock 1.65 in my bios (1.68 in winblows) to 1.7 (1.72 in winblows) and it still hard locks. So then I tred 1.75 (1.77 in winblows) and it did the same thing. Then I put it to 1.85, the highest setting on my board (1.88 in winblows) and it still did the same thing. My temps are fine as reported by motherboard monitor 5...Diode = 32C Prime Load, Case = 34C Prime Load, Socket = 30C Prime Load. I don't understand why this is happening...I can get my chip to 10.5 x 200 at stock voltages, but then when set to 11, at any voltage, it will hard freeze eventually (about 30 minutes into Prime95.) Please Help!
Also my power supply is an Antec Truepower 430 Watts that is about six months old. The rails as reported my motherboard monitor 5, while folding, are at...
+12v = 12.16v (Very Constant)
+5v = 4.945v (Very Constant)
+3.3v = 3.216 to 3.48 (Fluctuating)
Vcore = 1.67 to 1.69 (Fluctuating

Sometimes certain FSB/multi combinations have trouble. My dad has rev 1.04 A7N8X Deluxe that has trouble at 200 FSB, but works fine at 199 and 201. Try to play with the FSB a little and see if it makes a difference.

Well I tried 11 x 199 just a minute ago. At stock vcore it froze after 10 seconds or so I raised it to 1.77 (in windows) and that made prime freeze right when I started the test. Then I put it at 1.85 (in windows it gos from 1.87 to 1.91) and its priming as we speak. Something isnt right...:(
Edit...Just Froze at 1.88 vcore..so i said screw it and now im just testing to see if the vcore adjustment is even doing anything...currently in windows typing this at 12 x 195 =2,355 @ 1.75 vcore. Second Edit looks like the vcore setting does work because at 1.7 it would BSOD me before i got into windows now it doesnt. Hmm something is weird....

Well 12 x 195 locked up in prime also at 1.85 voltage so screw it im back down to 10.5 x 200 (which isnt bad, but its nice to have more.) I'm pretty sure the board is holding me back because its an A7N8X and rev 1.04. I was looking at some motherboards to buy and I have my mind set on this board. Would this be one of the best for overclocking?

Please let me know, thanks.:cool:

I think the problem could be your mobo. Asus generally don't overclock that well. The best one i think is the Abit NF7-S version 2.
what chip is it? you might have to L12 it, or it might be a dud :(

Can you raise the FSB over 200 with a 10.5 multi?

Ya in memtest I can pass at 210 with no errors at 2-3-3-11. But 210 x 10.5 is unstable once I get into windows.:(
