For my WC box, i have the option of mounting my 2 120mm fans as push and pull directly to the rad. This seems inefficient to me because the second fan is no spinning as much as being spun by the airflow from the first fan. I am planning to put the 2 fans on the back and side of the box and have them push air out of the box. My question is would this get me better results for my WC setup as opposed to the push/pull config? Also, in doing this, i understand that I have to try and make the box as air tight as possible and shroud the rad to the box. Anyone have any ideas how I can make a lid that would be air tight?

BTW, I am using an old case shell (ones where sides and top is connected) as the shell of this box. I have seem someone do something similar but they had their fan shrouded to the rad and didn't encounter thsi problem. Other who uses the exhaust method put their setup in a horrendously large storage box.

Can someone give some ideas that could point me in the right directions? Thx

If you could get that box rather air tight, you can put the fans any place on the box you want to, and have the rad mounted on one side. The negative pressure in the box will try and get air from somewhere and through the rad will be the easiest place!

EDIT: BTW, WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!!!!!!!!

hehe thx for the welcome. People here seem pretty friendly :)

I understand how the whole negative pressure works and stuff, what I really like to know is how I can seal this box up, being that it will have a lid and all.
